Hi Reggie,
Oh, I feel really sorry for you; this has happened to me several times and
has caused rage, grief, and disbelief. I don't know why, but sometimes the
BN just decides it doesn't like a given file. Sometimes opening said
unpalatable file in another program, altering it in some minor way, and then
resaving in the same format will fix the problem the next time you work on
it with the BN. But even that doesn't always work. If your frustration is
sufficiently motivational you could send the file to the PDI people; the
truncated one and the pretruncated one. This can be done because PDI people
have clearance to download Bookshare files for testing purposes.
