Hi Cindy, Replacing tabs with spaces is absolutely fine, and in fact, preferable. This, in fact, is good. If tabs appear in anything other than a properly created table, the conversion tools will remove them, and leave no space in their place, so you're helping by doing this! Happy proofreading! It's great to have you back with us. I hope you are well. Well, I have been replacing tabs between roman numerals and the body of the text with a space. Now it occurs to me that this could be wrong. I could go back and fix them unless it doesn't make a lot of differenceand leave the rest the way they are. I am only on Page 28 of the book. Suggestions?
