Tracy,

There's already been 25 to 30 books approved this morning.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Bookshare's purpose

I've always thought that Bookshare's purpose was, duh, to share books.
That sharing is done by putting books on the website, where users can get
at them. As I and others have said, repeatedly, that is not happening
now, and hasn't happend for well over a month, and no one will say when it
will start happening again. I begin to wonder if Bookshare's purpose has
changed. Maybe fundraising is now the main purpose--I've seen it happen
in other non-profits, some of them near and dear to my heart.
If the purpose is still to actually share books, then why can't someone,
any trusted employee, start approving books again? Why can't anyone at
least tell us when the process might start up again? Am I wasting my
precious time, validating books that no one will ever see?
