Thank you for this interesting list. Some of the numbers sure surprise me.
It's not too shocking that art and archetecture don't get a very good
showing. Even if they are interesting subjects, the books about those
subjects would tend to be too pictorial for scanning. Home and garden
books tend to be the same.
For future reference, the format of the list could be better. :-) If a
screen reader is allowed to read the whole message it is necessary to wait
through a ridiculously long repetition of "dot" or possibly, with
different settings, a very long silence, before hearing the number. I
arrowed down the list to hear the category and then hit end to see the
number. Sometimes the number was on the next line right below the
category. I'm sure the list looked good before sending but after sending
it was no longer neatly arranged because of what E-mail programs do to line
length, and auditorially it was even worse. I only mention it because I am
sure you didn't realize that.

Gustavo doesn't show it on Bookshare's home page yet, but I happened to do a couple of searches using the Advanced Search page earlier and found that the collection has 23,774 books in English and 274 books in Spanish. That's a total of 24,048 books in the collection. That leabes three and a half months to break the goal of 25,000 by the end of the year.
