As I recall it was possible to go to the advanced search, leave the edit fields blank and set everything else to the broadest possible options and then the search results would return every book in the collection. At the top of the list it would say 1 to 100 of ... and then there would be the exact number of titles in the entire collection. I do rather miss the ability to do that.

Hi Shelley and everyone! Yes, that is cool! It just says:Bookshare offers more than 70,000 digital books, textbooks, teacher-recommendedreading, periodicals and assistive technology tools. Before the new site was launched, I think, there used to be a running total of books on Bookshare. I remember I'd make a point to check what the count was whenever I visited the site to brows the new books and/or download some. It was so exciting to see that count going up every time I visited the site. I would report the new count to my husband, who was also pleased to hear it, though he is not a member or volunteer as I am.Debby At 08:34 PM 6/9/2010, Shelley L. These books, available also to our US members, are available to members outside the US because copyright have granted us international rights.
