Hi Shelley and everyone!

Yes, that is cool!

It just says:

Bookshare offers more than 70,000 digital books, textbooks, teacher-recommended
reading, periodicals and assistive technology tools.

Before the new site was launched, I think, there used to be a running total of books on Bookshare. I remember I'd make a point to check what the count was whenever I visited the site to brows the new books and/or download some. It was so exciting to see that count going up every time I visited the site. I would report the new count to my husband, who was also pleased to hear it, though he is not a member or volunteer as I am.

Cool Scott that is awesome.

I know Scholastic is one of the publishers who has granted publisher rights so try to find their books if I can.

Hey, do you know what the current count is for Books on the site?

It was just announced that we now have 12,000 books available to international users (4177 of them are public domain books but the rest are copyrighted.) These books, available also to our US members, are available to members outside the US because copyright have granted us international rights. The vast majority are in English.
