How long is it? Scan it, sure. But no real time to do much fixing beyond making sure the pages come out as well as is possible. I'll call the local library later today.

For me it depends on (1) is someone willing to rescan it, (2) is it a worthwhile addition to the collection, or does someone or more want to read (3) is it something I'd like to read/validate, and (4) is it missing a lot of pages. I don't mind deleting garbage, filling in missing words or sentences, or scanning a page or two here or there, but a lot of pages, no. In the case of Oddball Wisconsin, at least one person would like to read it and have it in the collection, and so far no one has offered to rescan it, including the original scanner. I found the partial paragraphs that Judy or someone included to be interesting, and I can get the book from my library, so I'd be happy to validate it--but not rescan. smileNow, Gary, if you can get it and would like to rescan it.... smile G.Cindy --- On Thu, 5/15/08, Gary Petraccaro <garyp130@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:Now, doesn't that depend on how bad a scan it was in the first place? To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxput the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
