Hi Kelly,

I have no idea--sorry! Technically the books aren't delayed, they just are
well-hidden. I agree that it would be nice if system updates were done then,
but no doubt there would be someone trying to find their book at 5 am and
irritated when they couldn't! The good news is that the category updating is
going quickly and should be done soon. I apologize for not being able to give
you a better answer.

Best,

Madeleine

Madeleine,

How long does it take from when a new book is approved to when it is available
to borrowers, given the system delays because of updating categories? One
would think that system updates are done in the wee hours when few are using
the service to prevent problems such as this.

Russ,

The same thing happened to me, but I did find the book in the
collection when I searched for the author’s name instead of the book
title. Give that a try, maybe it will work for you, too.

I received an email stating that Killer In the Kitchen by Donald Bain
