As a matter of fact, the NLS has a policy of not recording books that would have little interest by the time they get them recorded. That means that the election books published just before the elections are unlikely to get into the NLS collection at all. In a message dated 9/12/2008 12:59:35 A.M. Within 2 weeks of her nomination for vice president, Dave Russell submitted a book about Sarah Palin. Voters with a print disability have timely information about this candidate as well as information about both presidential candidates from books written by the candidates themselves. No matter how you intend to vote, I'm sure you would agree that having access to these books before the election is a great step forward. Knowledge is power, and that power gives us a choice. Unless it's already in their pipeline, NLS won't get this book for awhile, long after the election is over. Thank you, Dave, and thanks to the validater for processing the book so quickly. You're empowering all of us who want to know more about Sarah.
