A couple hours' walk in the empty Wax and Dog Creek campsites near Nolin Lake
this evening turned up about 20 remaining chipping sparrows among the usual
suspects. We also had our first influx of robins, with several flocks totalling
150. A male wood duck in bright breeding plumage was unxepected, but a great
addition to our walk.
