We heard a Kentucky warbler yesterday, 4/16/2016. That is the earliest we have
heard it here in northern Franklin Co. The earliest we have recorded is
4/23/2011 here. Have not heard it again so far today. We have a very persistent
field sparrow, thrasher, white-throated sparrow, and towhee singing. I first
heard blue-gray gnatcatcher about 1 1/2 wks ago. It's getting exciting!
