Thanks for this. I did an independent study project for Dr. Davis on bobolinks
at Masterson Station Park in about 1980. I remember meeting with him and
hearing a soft crunching noise in his office. He had a box with a small mammal
carcass and beetles or some insect that was cleaning it so he could preserve
the bones. From the obit he sounds like a wonderful person. I wish I had been
mature enough to get to know him.
