Steve Stedman and I participated in the Wayne County CBC held 12/17; we tallied
74 species. Uncommon species found on the count included Snow Goose, Eurasian
Collared-Dove, American Pipit, Palm Warbler, Chipping Sparrows and Purple
Finch. It was a cold 28-35 degrees with wind speeds ranging from 10-20 MPH. A
count of 519 Bonaparte's Gulls was high for the area.
