While Frank Lyne and Allison have been occupied with their Owl, I've been kept awake the past two mornings by a bird in my yard. No, it isn't an Owl. It's a Mocking-bird. This bird starts up around 12:30 midnight which awakens me to the point where I have a hard time going back to sleep . About the time I' m settled into sleeping soundly again, at 3:30 AM it starts up again. It doesn't use its entire repertoire ,however. It seemed to be focusing on the Blue Jay call today. A remedy or a suggestion on dealing with this problem would be most welcome. Today I hunted up a set of ear plugs . Normally I'm and early riser but today I slept til almost 7:00 AM.
