Spent the mid afternoon at Ballard WMA with the boys. We all got great looks
at several species that were new to them and they really enjoyed it. The best
spot is at Lower Beaver Dam Slough. Water is just starting to come off the
peninsula at the levee. Cook slough, Burnt Slough and Happy Hollow are all
full of water and should get good in a couple of weeks. Highlights include:

Hooded Merganser 1
Black vulture 1
Killdeer 1
Greater Yellowlegs 9
Lesser Yellowlegs 20
Solitary Sandpiper 3
