Ran to Ballard before work to check for shorebirds. The only concentration of
birds were located at the field just east of Lower Beaver Dam Slough. Birds
seen
Semi Plover 15
Killdeer 3
Greater Yellowlegs 1
Lesser Yellowlegs 12
Solitary Sandpiper 2
Spotted Sandpiper 2
Least Sandpiper 1
Pectoral Sandpiper 10
Also noted Palm warblers common everywhere and several dozen Dickcissels
present in the alfalfa fields off Smokey Road.
