Got my first list for the GBBC. Went out to Maine Chance Farm (Lexington). The good mix of geese was still present with one Ross's, Snow (both blue and white phases and one immature), two Cackling and lots of Canada. Got 37 species including a nice little flock of Am Tree Sparrows and had to work hard for the Savannah and Swamp Sparrows. Even saw a Red Fox hunting one of the fields. Got a few photos (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lang-photoshare/) David Lang Scott County Spindletop, Fayette, US-KY Feb 15, 2013 8:32 AM - 11:28 AM Protocol: Traveling 8.4 mile(s) Comments: David Lang, Brenda Franey, Terry Franey <br />Submitted from BirdLog NA for iOS, version 1.5.2 37 species Snow Goose 18 8 Blue phase the rest white phase with one immature.
