After years of vacancies in the high rises two pair of mature Purples showed
up a few days ago. It looks like the males have departed, but 3 apparent sub
adults have shown up, and I have nesting going on. (The English sparrows
are, of course, making a nuisance of themselves).
It seems odd that the two mature males would leave, and that more purples
are showing up and settling in, especially this time of year.
Anyone with expertise that can help with this?
