Luckily, insomnia struck on a good night for migration. With the passing of Isaac, the radar was solid blue overhead last night, which could only mean that migration was in full swing again. I took the scope out into the yard, focused it on the moon, and was treated to many birds overhead. In between blasts of the neighbor's air conditioner, I heard a few calls as well. I pity the beautiful dreamers snug in their beds. Although I should hit the books again this morning, I'll head out to see what has landed before doing so. I hope you get the chance to do the same.
