It was very slow birding this morning, but we did manage to find a few good birds. Both a Veery and a Swainson's Thrush were eating berries along with a beautiful Baltimore Oriole. A Scarlet Tanager was foraging high up in one of the walnut trees. Birds really seem to like this tree. Eight species of warblers were found including a nice Canada. A Green Heron continues on Willow Lake and Cedar waxwings are every where along the trail. Glad Isaac is moving on and north winds are beginning to blow through our area. Looking forward to good birding as the winds shift.
