[birdky] Killdeer on hay rolls

Sunday morning I spotted a Killdeer running along the top of one of my rows of
hay rolls. As I approached, it briefly displayed its tail before flying off. I
can't recollect ever seeing a Killdeer perched atop anything before. Kind of
wondered if it might decide to lay some eggs up there, but it didn't seem too
defensive. Picture here -
