Had four male Indigo Buntings on the ground this morning mixed in with two White-Throated Sparrows. Interesting mix of summer and winter dwelling birds. The grackles are keeping most of the small birds off the feeder itself. My 6 or 7 cowbirds have departed -- probably having accomplished their nefarious deeds.
