I skipped birding the Sloughs yesterday to avoid the biting gnats ( I still
have welts where they bit ), and today I avoided that area again by going to
Sandy Lee Watkins Park.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll try the Sloughs again.
Surprisingly no fishermen!! And some mud flats exposed at Penn Lake. So I added
shorebirds at SLWP that are seldom there.
