One of my all time favorites is David Attenborough's The Life of Birds.
It's broken up into different segments and I've used it for educational
purposes in the past. The programs are beautiful and informative but are very
approachable for the novice audience. Great for any age.
Also Winged Migration is another. For younger audiences I just fast forward the
life/ death events. There are only 2 or 3 of those in the whole duration of the
movie.

Good day, good bird-loving people. Gotta question for ya.
Do any of you have recommendations for DVDs that would be appropriate for
use as a "bird program?" I'd like to purchase one/more DVDs of up to
one-hour length (shorter duration fine, too) that would be suitable for
sharing with senior citizens and/or school kids. Don't want anything too
technical but something that will foster greater appreciation of birds.
I find 4-hour 2-DVD Audubon program and plenty of "Birds of .... various
states" DVDs (but not KY) and am getting tired of searching - so I'm
turning to you folks for any recommendations. Thank you.
