My favorite flute player has returned!! Wood thrush heard singing so sweetly
this AM. And to make the morning even more enjoyable, I was buzzed by a female
ruby throated hummingbird as I changed the bird bath water. Glad we had the
feeders up on Sunday.

I also saw my first one at my house near confluence of Benson Cr. and KY R., at
my nectar feeder. 😁

Happy to report I've had my first RTH visitor of the new year today in southern
segment of northwest Franklin County.
Also, friends in central northern Franklin County (Hockensmiths on Tracy Lane)
reported their first hummingbird today, too.
Those little birds make me so happy. I am in awe of them!
