We saw 2 Eurasian Collared Doves while passing through Allensville, in Todd County yesterday. Lately I have been seeing some Goldfinches in the backyard pecking at the Beebalm (bergamot). I planted the Beebalm for bees and butterflies but I'm glad to know that the seed is also good to eat. I also saw an Indigo Bunting eating foxtail seed. This non-native grass is probably considered a noxious weed by most but I kind of like it and have noticed other birds eating it before.
