I spent several hours by the tennis courts this morning. There were so many birds, I know I missed many. The pains of birding alone!!! Black and White Warbler Yellow Rumped Warbler (it seemed for every bird I saw, I would see 4 YRW, there were a lot) Blue-Winged Warbler Palm Warbler Nashville Warbler Indigo Bunting Female Scarlet Tanager White Throated Sparrow (many) Catbird Cardinals (this is how I found the Blue Winged Warbler, he was chasing them!) Thrushes Blue Gray Ghatcatcher Chickadee Great Crested Flycatcher The birds were singing like crazy today. Between looking for where the song was coming from and what I saw dart out of the corner of my eye, I was pretty wiped out when I left. Today was a good birding day!!!
