The Ohio River has dropped in level enough so that 268 is open again and you can view the Sloughs. I did a very brief drive-by this afternoon (1/25). Besides lots of high water and debris occasionally on the road; not much to note. Canada Geese Shovelers Mallards possibly 2 eagles - I assume thats what they were, it was hard to see with them being backlit harshly by the sun The temperature had warmed considerably (54F) and a lot of the geese were splashing around. But ice was still on a lot of the water. No Swans seen.
