[birdky] Bluebird and Osprey Programs

Location: Louisville Nature Center,  Louisville, KY, Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003
 
All are invited to a KY Bluebird Society program beginning at 1 pm.  Dr. Wayne 
Davis, Prof. E. UK will present a bluebird program at 1 pm, Ed Ray will present 
the KBS Outdoor Classroom Ed. Program (OCEP) including the live cam nest 
projects.  Teachers and students participating in OCEP are invited to make 
brief presentaions about their projects.  
 
The public is also invited to attend a program featuring Lake Barkley Ospreys 
presented by Ed Ray for the Louisville Audubon Society, same date and location, 
beginning at 3:30 pm.  The program will include osprey nesting information, 
osprey interactions with other bird species and an osprey platform project 
sussessfully tested and implemented with Caldwell County Elementary School and 
other partners. This project involved producing and placing four new osprey 
nesting platforms at Lake Barkley one with a live cam sending KY's first bird 
images to Cornell University for internet viewing.
