I went fishing or should I say birding at Taylorsville Lake this morning from 7 am-1 pm and saw or heard the following. wood duck green heron- several great blue heron- numerous turkey vulture osprey red tail hawk dove yellow billed cuckoo-several calling chimney swift acadian flycatcher phoebe eastern kingbird white eyed vireo yellow throated vireo red eyed vireo blue jay crow barn swallow Carolina wren-numerous blue gray gnatcatcher wood thrush pine warbler prairie warbler-several black & white warbler-three prothonotary warbler-several common yellowthroat-several summer tanager towhee field sparrow song sparrow cardinal indigo bunting grackle goldfinch As for as the fishing,umm lets just say I did better birding. I probably missed some birds by fishing such as maybe a blue wing warbler and I know I missed some fish by birding, oh well decisions decisions. Eddie
