If anyone has nothing to do today and you have any communication towers nearby . . . it was kind of a strange morning here in central KY with some locally distributed ground fog combined with extensive areas of low and mid-level cloud cover. It might have been the type of fall night that results in some songbird mortality at towers. Hopefully it wasn't a bad night for them, but I suspect there are a few warblers lying dead under towers today. I am going to try to get by two TV towers at Lexington at lunch just to see. bpb, Louisville brainard.palmer-ball@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
