We birded Cherokee Park in and near the Nettelroth Bird Sanctuary after lunch today.
Some highlights included -
3 Great Horned Owls - 1 adult and 2 downy youngsters
1 Yellow-b. Cuckoo
1 Hermit Thrush
Warblers included Prothonotary, Parulas, Yellow-throateds, Cerulean.
Rough-w Swallows
Broad-w Hawk
Red-s Hawk
Kingfisher
House Wren
Ruby-cr Kinglets
Baltimore Oriole
A Big Brown Bat was also flying around.
