I made a trip around Lake Cumberland yesterday, with stops at various ponds. Most stops at the lake had small numbers of Bonaparte's and/or Ring-billed Gulls. Clifty Pond: 10 Redheads Cooley's Pond (usually is pretty good, but not much present yesterday), Thurston's Pond and L Cumberland in Wayne County: Mute Swan 6 (4 at Cooley's and 2 at Conley Bottom) Canada Goose Bufflehead 4 Gadwall 2 Mallard Ring-necked Duck 92 Redhead 10 Canvasback 1 (a pretty male) Greater Scaup 4 Lesser Scaup 5 Horned Grebe 25 (Most were seen scattered about at Camp Earl Wallace.)
