Wow! This weather is perfect. Sure hope we are finished with 90 degree days. Lots of birds were seen today on the trail. Redstarts were just every where. We had our first of the season Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, Philadelphia Vireo, and Rose-breasted Grosbeak. Swainson's Thrushes were quite numerous all along the wooded areas. We would record 9 warbler species - Tennessee, Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, Blackthroated Green, Blackburnian, Redstart, Ovenbird, Common Yellowthroat, and Canada. Two Barred Owls checked our progress as we meandered along the Nature Trail. A super day of birding!
