What  a glorious day to be out walking the trail! We encountered several
species that we have not seen on the AT since spring.  It seems the birds are
on the move.

Highlights:
2 Green Heron
1 Broad-winged Hawk
1 E. Wood-Pewee
1 Empidonax species that we thought was a Least Flycatcher, but it is a little
early for this bird
4 Great Cr. Flycatchers
4 E. Kingbirds
1 Warbling Vireo
6 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers
2 Cedar Waxwings - there haven't been many of these birds on the trail
Warblers (YEA!) - 1 Parula, 1Yellow, 1 Yellow-throated, 3 Black-and-Whites, 3
Common Yellowthroats
1 Baltimore Oriole

Happy birding,
