We had a nice morning out at Maine Chance Farm this past Saturday. There were
11 of us and we found 28 species, including a Red-headed Woodpecker,
Dickcissels, Bobolink, Savannah & Grasshopper Sparrows.
Our next outing is at Shaker Village on July 13th. If you want to carpool from
Lexington, we have a 7:00 am DEPARTURE from the Palomar Shopping Center by the
Great Harvest Bread Co. You can also meet us at the parking lot at Shaker
Villiage, just inside and to the left of the main gate at about 7:45 am.
I hope you all had some good walks while I was away on my Africa trip. Can
someone please send me the walk reports for the following outings: 5/25 Shaker
Village and 6/01 Red River Gorge.
