we had 3 young Killdeer in the vacant lot behind us on Friday evening.
They were already 2 or 3 days old I am guessing. Not too many downed
chicks have the same color pattern as the adults, truly miniature
replicas. We got the broken wing display of course. I have had baby
rabbits running about the yard for 3 weeks now.
Lesser Scaup and Ring-necks on the local ponds still.
