Hello again fellow birders. With the help of numerous volunteers we have
nearly 1600 plants in the ground out at the Kentucky Horse Park. We still have
about 600 to go. If you can spare a few hours, we'll be working tomorrow from
9-noon and same time Friday if we don't get them all in tomorrow. I have
plenty of shovels and water. You just need work gloves. If you plan to come,
here are the directions:
The Park is at 4089 Iron Works Parkway, Lexington. Go in the main entrance and
tell the person at the guard gate that you are a volunteer meeting with Annie.
They should let you in without paying. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd
exit onto Cigar Lane. We will be working about a half mile up on the left.
