Got out after this big rain this morning for about 5 hours. Recorded
105 species between a couple grassland spots, Berea College Woods,
Owsley Fork, Lake Reba, and a little shorebird spot off Hunter Lane.

Nashville- Berea
Cerulean- Berea
Blackburnian- Berea
Magnolia- Owsley
Blackpoll- Berea
Northern Shoveler- Lake Reba
Bobolink- 6 males at grassland off Berea Road
Savannah Sparrow- at least 12 off Berea Road and 2 off Duncannon
Henslow's Sparrow- 1 off Duncannon
Swamp Sparrow- 1 at Grasslands
Lesser Yellowlegs- 1 off Hunter Lane
Yellow-billed Cuckoo- 1 at Berea
It was windy and the middle of the but there was pretty good bird
activity/calling until 2:30. Lack of thrushes and flycatchers very
apparent. Planned on doing a big morning yesterday, but I headed out
at 4 am and picked up Garganey in Ohio then Ruff in Indiana. Killer
Eurasian duo.
