Got out after this big rain this morning for about 5 hours. Recorded 105 species between a couple grassland spots, Berea College Woods, Owsley Fork, Lake Reba, and a little shorebird spot off Hunter Lane.

Highlights Included:

22 Species of Warbler
Nashville- Berea
Cerulean- Berea
Blackburnian- Berea
Magnolia- Owsley
Blackpoll- Berea

Northern Shoveler- Lake Reba
Bobolink- 6 males at grassland off Berea Road
Savannah Sparrow- at least 12 off Berea Road and 2 off Duncannon
Henslow's Sparrow- 1 off Duncannon
Swamp Sparrow- 1 at Grasslands
Lesser Yellowlegs- 1 off Hunter Lane
Yellow-billed Cuckoo- 1 at Berea

It was windy and the middle of the but there was pretty good bird activity/calling until 2:30. Lack of thrushes and flycatchers very apparent. Planned on doing a big morning yesterday, but I headed out at 4 am and picked up Garganey in Ohio then Ruff in Indiana. Killer Eurasian duo.

Good Birding
