Hi All,
Today was a good day for migrants here in the yard with 42 species counted. Two 
Philadelphia Vireos represented the most interesting species of the day. These 
are birds that I see only during fall migration. Here is a photo.



Some of the other interesting birds of the 42 species counted were

Bay-breasted Warblers 3
Black-throated Blue Warbler 1m
Black-throated Green Warbler 1
Cape May Warbler 2 (1m, 1f)
Chestnut-sided Warbler 1 (1st year female)
Common Yellowthroat 2 ( 1 1st year male, 1f)
Palm Warbler 1 (1st one of the season)
Tennessee Warblers 11
Yellow-throated Warblers 2
Worm-eating Warblers 3

Blue-headed Vireo 1
Red-eyed Vireos 4
White-eyed Vireo 1
Cedar Waxwing 65
Eastern Phoebe 1
Eastern Wood Pewee 1
Eastern Towhees 6
Gray Catbird 2
Indigo Bunting 1f
Northern Flicker 3
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks 2f
Ruby-throated Hummingbirds 3
Scarlet Tanagers 4 (3m, 1f)
Swainson's Thrush 4
