I'm beginning to see more sparrows around our place now. This morning I saw Field, Wh.Cr. , Wh. Th., Chipping and Song Sparrows as well as E. Towhee foraging in the weedy fields and cane stubble. I was pleasantly surprised to find several migrants including : Blue-headed V., Tennessee W., Palm W., Yellow-rumped W. and a "new late date " Hooded Warbler. Other birds of interest were: Scarlet Tanager, E. Phoebe, Mockingbird, Bluebird, Robin and Raven. Barred Owl, Red-sh Hawk, Coopers and T Vulture were noted. I think 33 species showed up on this gorgeous October day. Dave R -Breaks
