Hope all of you are doing well. The mockingbirds here have produced two offspring. However, the parents did not forsee the determination of my cat who throughly enjoys birding up close. I rescued the twins-on successive days last weekend- unharmed after they somehow got out of their nest in the neighbor's yard. Not being able to put them back in the nest that is really high, I decided upon a vacant hanging planter. The parents found them (who wouldn't with their incessant sqeaking?) and are continuing to feed them and harass the cats in the neighborhood. I added the tree branches to help keep the little ones shaded during the day and also to inspire them to stay in the planter until they can fly. So far, so good. Time to get back to studying for the bar exam. Mollie
