With overnight temperatures in the single digits and sunshine this afternoon, I
was prompted to look for a Screech-owl that may be sunbathing. True to my
research books, an owl was seen in Burkes Garden about 4:00 PM, 1/19/2016.
Location: 1/2 mile eastbound on Banks Ridge Road from the intersection of
Burkes Garden Road. A coral is on the left. The tree with the cavity is in the
pasture behind the coral.
