Hi All,
Yesterday one of the young Red-shouldered Hawks, that has been hanging out in
the trees on our place, came into the front yard. It landed on the power pole
and sat there for awhile. I took this not so great photo through the window.
Needless to say, the 4 squirrels and the couple of chipmunks under the bird
feeders didn't like the hawk being there at all.

A short time later a small Sharp-shinned Hawk came in and played
Ring-Around-the Rosy with a couple of small birds in the Azalea bush before
flying off into the woods. I wasn't able to see if he got his lunch or not.

A pair of Scarlet Tanagers came in to bathe in the stream along with a pair of
Indigo Buntings and a Yellow Warbler. Later a molting, female Black-throated
Green Warbler came in to drink and bathe. Here is a photo of her.
