The morning started out with a Black-throated Green Warbler in the tree over the yard pond and 6 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks at the feeders. A White-throated Sparrow fed under the gooseberry bush and the goldfinches on the thistle were soon joined by 2 Pine Siskins. A Yellow-throated Warbler and a male Indigo Bunting came early to bathe in the stream. The first year Orchard Oriole was back among the flowering trees and shrubs. Later in the day this Yellow-breasted Chat came in to the stream to drink and bathe. Roger Mayhorn Compton Mt
