Hi All
Sunday my lovely wife got me up and out to Ohio's tall grass prairie to try and
find a Sedge Wren. We had been there several years in a row looking for the
bird and have had song, wing flashes, subtle movement of shadows but never
actually getting to see the Sedge wren with a good look. This has been my
relationship with the sedge wren for years subtle movements, bits of chip notes
and song but no good look. Sunday was different not a good look but a great
pose for a photograph and excellent looks. Annie and I did the life bird dance
and what fun. Finally after all these years I could tear out the wren page in
my field guide.
