That’s awesome Bob! David Raines pished one up for us at the OBX last February
and several of us added it to our list. Of course I hadn’t waited as long to
get my look, but my experience with the Sedge Wren had been just as you
described yours in the past.
Congrats!

Hi All
Sunday my lovely wife got me up and out to Ohio's tall grass prairie to try
and find a Sedge Wren. We had been there several years in a row looking for
the bird and have had song, wing flashes, subtle movement of shadows but
never actually getting to see the Sedge wren with a good look. This has been
my relationship with the sedge wren for years subtle movements, bits of chip
notes and song but no good look. Sunday was different not a good look but a
great pose for a photograph and excellent looks. Annie and I did the life
bird dance and what fun. Finally after all these years I could tear out the
wren page in my field guide.
