David, Nice list. Thanks for posting it. I noticed that you still have White-throated Sparrows. I also saw one on Wednesday, the 30th. As you and I were discussing recently, our late date for the area is May 3rd. Maybe we will still have one on May 3rd to add to the celebration of your birthday. So if anyone sees a White-throated Sparrow on May 3rd or later, please post it. Let's see if we can equal our late date or possibly surpass it. They were joined by 3 Pine Siskins, 2 White-throated Sparrows, 1 Red-breasted Nuthatch & our FOS White-crowned Sparrow. Other species around home today included Yellow-breasted Chat, Yellow Warbler, N Parula Warbler,White-eyed Vireo, N Mockingbirds(a pair), B Thrasher, Catbird, Wood Thrush, R-T Hummingbirds, Chimney Swifts, Tree & Barn Swallows, Red-bellied Wp, Sh-shinned Hawk, Red-sh Hawk & Bluebirds. Of course there were many other common birds around with 15 Cowbirds, 5 Redwings, 2 Grackles, 2 Chipping Sparrows, 1 Field Sparrow, 2 Chickadees, 2 Titmouse, 2 Robins, 6 Goldfinch, 3 House Finch, 1 Great-crested Flycatcher, 1 Phoebe, 1 Turkey Vulture & lots of Cardinals & Mourning Doves. All in all ,not too bad for a day mostly filled w/chores not birding! Dave R
