Hi All,
Today, just as light snowfall was beginning, 4 Fox Sparrows came to feed with 8
White-throated Sparrows, a couple of Purple Finches, Red-wings, Grackles,
Towhees, House Finches, Cardinals,Juncos and about 30 Mourning Doves.
A Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, a Red-bellied Woodpecker and White-breasted
Nuthatches came to the suet feeder.
Here is a photo of one of the Fox Sparrows. With all of that reddish-brown
coloring you can see where it got its name.
