After I was alerted that Great Horned Owl was seen at close range, I made
another trip to Burkes Garden yesterday. No luck on the GH Owl, but I was able
to locate the Eastern Screech-owl in the same tree cavity on Banks Ridge Road.
I’m in hopes that it will be there during the Buchanan County Bird Club trip on
February 13th.
